Coldwater Canyon Golf Course first opened for play in 1917. A new nine was added in 1999.
Par for the course is 69. From the back tees, the course plays to 5,697 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,527 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 513 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 126 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 493-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, the 126 yard par-3.

I enjoyed the course, it was difficult and the greens require that you think before you putt. My friend and I both said that we would like to play it more often. To play better you have to play it more so you don't get surprised by features that put your ball in places you didn't know were there. We used the GOLFNOW app to get a good price. I have a membership at the Madison courses about an hour away, so I don't usually play away courses. We will look for more opportunities to play this course after labor day when the summer crowds have gone. It is a beautiful layout and very well maintained. A 10 in my mind.
